Troop 290 is located in Colts Neck, New Jersey. We are in
the Battleground
District of the Monmouth
Council and we are sponsored by the Colts Neck Fire Department.
The Troop meets 7:30 to 9 pm, Wednesday evenings at the Colts Neck Firehouse
#1, on Route 537 west of Route 34.
Meeting activities planned by the Scouts themselves include learning and
practicing Scouting skills, planning trips and special activities, working on
merit badges or other projects of interest to the Scouts, games, and fun.
The Troop consists of three patrols:

Elite
Eight
Flamers
Committee Info:
Troop 290 is supported by a committee made up of the parents and adult
leaders of the troop. The committee
meets once a month at Saint Mary's spiritual center on the first Tuesday of
each month after Cub Scout committee meeting, at 8:45 PM.
