In Service to the Community |
On Saturday, March 27 the Troop is starting up the service and conservation project at Big Brook Nature Trail. During this first session, we will be building two bridges. This is a long term project, and we expect all to attend. We will be meeting at the Laurelwood entrance to Big Brook at 8:45 AM. Remember to bring work gloves and a bag lunch. We also need hand wood saws, and 8 post-hole diggers.
As we make progress, we will be planning other dates.

Camping Trip

Join us in Wharton State Forest for a fun-filled weekend down in the Pinebarrens. Initiative games, scout craft and general fun are on the agenda. We have invited the 2nd Year Webelos to join us in preparation for their crossover on April 30th. Patrol menu planning should be completed by March 31. We will depart from the Firehouse at 5:00 PM Friday.

Project Forestburg

On March 17, the Forestburg Summer Camp packages will go out to the Troop. There are several new offerings and changes to the merit badge program. First Aid, Space Exploration and Shotgun are just a few of the highlights.
Deposits and forms are due back by Wednesday, March 31.

Webelos Orientation
We are preparing a presentation for the 2nd Year Webelos to help them understand what Boy Scouts and the Summer Resident Camp is all about. If you want to help (and fulfill a Communication merit badge requirement) contact Mr. Ceres. All Den Chiefs should be available to help put this together.
